पग घुँघरू बाँध मीरा नाची रे।
मैं तो अपने नारायण की, आप ही हो गई दासी रे॥

Main to apne Narayan ki, aap hi ho gayi daasi re.

With bells tied to her feet, Mira dances —
I have become, of my own will, the servant of my Lord.

Let the world call me mad — let them say what they wish;
the poison cup brought to me, I drank with a laugh and lived.
Mira's mind is fixed on her Beloved —
what have I to do with shame, with name, with rule?
